We are looking for a marketing leader. The Director of Growth Marketing will be a technical innovative leader, with the analytical brain of a growth hacker and the lightning speed of a trader. The newly created position will report to the CEO and will be responsible for all marketing activities and branding from strategy to successful execution and implement data-driven marketing that spans across all channels.

As entrepreneurs ourselves, we are building the acquisition process that we would have loved to experience when we sold our businesses in the past. Our founding team members are serial entrepreneurs with 5 exits, including an online used car marketplace, now listed on the NASDAQ and an e-commerce site, focused on home goods acquired by a private equity firm. The founders are Wharton and MIT graduates who have deep E-commerce, Technology, M&A, Finance, and Hedge Fund experience including Bridgewater Associates, McKinsey, and Airbnb. We are building the world’s best team to build a company by operators for operators as we know we will build the company that changes the entire e-commerce landscape and would love to add the best like-minded people to our dream team.

About the Director of Growth Marketing position

The Director of Growth Marketing will play a visible role in driving the strategy and execution of paid and organic growth campaigns across the full spectrum of Moonshot Brands' portfolio of e-commerce companies. The ideal candidate is extremely data-driven and has a proven track record of planning, buying, and optimizing ROI performance on multi-million-dollar budgets through multiple channels. Passionate about growth marketing. In the role, the ideal candidate also thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Deep experience in DTC a huge bonus. 

Director of Growth Marketing responsibilities are:

Develop, prioritize and implement Paid and Organic marketing strategies for multiple properties

Scale and grow various paid and organic channels including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, DSP, CTV, Retargeting, word of mouth, and Search (SEM, SEO, ASO)

Manage and optimize a multimillion-dollar budget to hit CAC and ROI goals.

Building the reporting infrastructure to analyze qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights (LTV, CAC, contribution margin, channel ROAS targets, retention cohorts, customer churn feedback, and more.

Researching and presenting new ideas: Growth is all about experimentation, so you will be expected to come up with new growth experiments, research your ideas, and present them in both verbal and written form.

Lead forecasting and tracking for all acquisition marketing channels

Manage creative testing schedule to drive improved campaign results

A/B test new and unique ideas based on a deep understanding of data to improve conversion rates, CTR, CPA, ROI, and other success metrics

Optimize every step of the user journey and onboarding funnel to improve performance

Self-starter, creative thinker, and problem-solver who is able to self-prioritize and multi-task

Deliver timely campaigns and reporting using outlined metrics. Track and analyze leanings and turn those into recommendations and actionable insights

Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative field

5+ years of growth marketing experience (customer acquisition, user acquisition, growth hacking), preferably in a high-growth DTC brand

Deep knowledge and understanding of performance marketing KPIs (CPA, ROAS, etc.)

Strong experience in building a growth hack program

Experience analyzing A/B and multivariate results for campaign performance

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; SQL & data visualization tools experience a huge plus

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Naturally curious about the customer and experienced in building brand-centric journeys that resonate with them

Enthusiastic, empathetic, and organized collaborator with cross-functional partners, especially creatives, brand marketers, product managers, and data analysts, and external marketing partners

A pragmatic do-er, you have the ability to be scrappy and creative with resources to maximize impact
