Calling all customer-obsessed marketing wizards! Zego is looking for a Customer Marketing Strategist to help drive client engagement with its cutting-edge suite of property technology and build industry-wide affinity with the Zego brand. Working closely with Zego’s Director of Relationship Marketing and alongside the company’s Customer Success and Product departments, you’ll develop outreach strategies and tactics to drive product adoption and support customer growth. While you’ll need to work independently, you’ll have ample opportunities to collaborate with other functions to create outstanding customer experiences and reach shared business objectives. What you'll do here:

Support Customer Growth & Relationship Strategy: 

  • Support customer growth and deepen relationships with our company and brand
  • Support and/or own overall customer outreach strategy, tactics, and governance, partnering with stakeholders across Marketing and the rest of the business (e.g. Product, Sales, Customer Success/Services)
  • Manage all customer touchpoints to prevent over-communication or spamming

Drive Product Engagement & Customer Success: 

  • Partner with Product to drive product utilization and engagement
  • Partner with Product Marketing to plan and communicate Product Launches
  • Partner with Services to drive automated information collection and streamline the onboarding of customers
  • Partner with Customer Success to drive product adoption and stickiness by sharing best practices and helping customers get the full value from Zego products and solutions

Delight Customers & Encourage Retention: 

  • Manage the Zego Customer Advocacy Program to source customer stories, identify customer references for deals, and line up speakers for webinars and events
  • Partner with Product Marketing & Client Services to keep a pulse on and improve customer satisfaction and engagement

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1-3 years of email marketing experience
  • Experience with popular marketing systems, including Marketo and Salesforce
  • Experience in Campaign management
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to remain flexible and adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Take direction and feedback well
  • Be proactive with industry trends
  • The preferred location of the candidate is San Diego, CA, or Chicago, IL
