What to expect:

As the Content & SEO Manager, you’ll be defining, owning, and executing the content strategy. As a natural storyteller, you’ll study and know our customers and prospects inside out and create content that will help move leads across the funnel, ultimately contributing to the sales pipeline.


Can you write short, punchy ad headlines and engaging long-form copy? Can you decode technical jargon and turn it into conversational, playful text? Do you enjoy working through and setting the content strategy? In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our written communications are clear, relevant, jargon-free to attract prospects and deliver results.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Driving the Content Marketing strategy, calendar, and execution;
  • Delivering world-class copywriting through all mediums, content that will be read by our target audience, including landing page copy, newsletters, blogs, ad copy, e-mail communications, social media campaigns, webinars, and more;
  • Working with Product Marketing Managers, Sales team, and other stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of our industry and client personas;
  • Providing creative direction for content projects, including blogs, landing pages, and potential video ads;
  • Ensuring new and existing content is optimized for SEO;
  • Performing SEO and keyword research to identify existing and new keywords;
  • Providing SEO recommendations with the help of an external SEO agency;
  • Tracking content and SEO progress, sharing the data and reports to the manager regularly;
  • Owning the operations of our marketing automation system, including setting up drip campaigns, implementing a lead scoring system, and ensuring different stakeholders use the tool efficiently;
  • Researching and proposing new content channels (podcasts, industry association groups, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS

What we want from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field;
  • 5+ years experience in a content marketing role;
  • Experience in B2B tech industries (SaaS is a plus);
  • Experience managing relationships with agencies and consultants;
  • Excellent content creation and editorial skills, with a strong writing background in both long and short-form mediums and diverse formats as well as email and paid ad copy;
  • Familiar with SEO concepts and website analytics;
  • Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMRush (or other similar tools), Google Search Console, and Google Trends;
  • Knowledge of CRM & Marketing Automation tools. (Salesforce, Pardot, and Hubspot is a plus);
  • Creative ability to find new ways of doing things, constantly looking to improve;
  • Ability to juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
