Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is seeking a mission-driven marketer to join our Marketing and Communications team. As MLT enters a period of unprecedented growth, the Associate Director of Marketing will play a key role in growing the MLT brand. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role will design and lead multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness and interest in MLT programs and strategic employer solutions to an array of key stakeholders. 

The Associate Director of Marketing is a highly visible role that serves as a strategic partner for multiple MLT teams including, Program Recruitment, Employer and Business School partnerships, Technology, and Development. This position is based in our Washington, DC-area office (Bethesda, MD).


  • Design and lead digital marketing campaigns to recruit applicants for MLT’s college and MBA-level fellowship programs
  • Develop highly-effective business development materials that showcase MLT’s employer solutions to industry-leading employers
  • Lead the production process for marketing materials, such as video, creative assets, one-pagers, and landing pages
  • Brainstorm, recommend, and implement new and creative digital marketing strategies
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, providing meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Contribute to other aspects of the work of the Marketing and Communications team as needed


  • 7+ years experience in digital marketing, including strategic planning and execution that moves key audiences to target behaviors, such as starting program applications or submitting business inquiries
  • Experience executing results-based paid social media and email campaigns 
  • Proficiency with WordPress, HubSpot, and Google Analytics or similar platforms, such that training is minimal
  • Strong project management skills tol drive the execution of marketing campaigns on time and within budget
  • Superior communication abilities, including written and verbal, resulting in persuasive content development that motivates target audiences to take a desired action (ex. starting a program application or engaging with MLTs business development team)
  • Video editing experience is preferred
