The Senior Provider Contracting Manager is responsible for the overall contracting and network management in multiple markets. This position is a key contributor to the strategic development and management of Carbon Health’s managed care network. In conjunction to the provider network, ensures the overall financial viability that Carbon Health is appropriately reimbursed for all services per contract.  

This role is remote friendly and can be located anywhere in the U.S.!

What You'll Do

  • Cultivate, manage, and maintain long term, productive relationships with health plans and medical groups to negotiate the best rates for physician contracts
  • Manage a full-cycle contracting process including: creative lead generation, discovery, driving solution demonstrations, negotiations, and closings
  • Manage sales and pipeline in Salesforce through forecasting, account strategy and planning
  • Increase annual revenue through contract negotiations using analytics to determine advantageous rate increases for the market and streamlining contract language to minimize administrative burden for contract management
  • Develop the strategic plan for physician contracting and create presentations on contracting strategies and methodologies to optimize professional fee income for clinical services

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of management, contracting and negotiating experience involving complex delivery systems required
  • Experience designing, monitoring and evaluating cutting-edge value-based payment programs 
  • Experience contracting with IPA’s and closed HMO networks
  • Team player with proven ability to develop strong working relationships within fast paced environment
  • Customer centric and strong interpersonal skills
