Turbot is looking for a proactive, inspirational and driven marketing leader to grow our marketing function. You will be responsible for scaling Turbot's and Steampipe's brand awareness, increase product adoption and engage with our community. Responsibilities

The role represents an exciting and broad opportunity to make a difference across our entire organization and community. The role spans a wide variety of tasks each week and month, which are likely to include;

  • Grow product adoption: You will build and execute the go-to-market strategy to increase brand awareness, in order to build a demand generation pipeline.
  • Increase product usage: You will optimize product stickiness and increase usage through automated value based messaging, as a key element of the customer journey.
  • Expand product community: You will engage with our community, partner developer relations teams, industry analysts and public relations.
  • Create engaging content: You will create and promote compelling brand and product content to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.
  • Evangelize product benefits: You will define, articulate and evangelize our customer segments and messaging through blogging, social media and speaking engagements.
  • Improve through experimentation: You will continuously measure and analyze opportunities to optimize marketing strategies and marketing campaigns, using a data driven approach.
  • Learn from customers: You will have deep understanding of user needs and experiences, utilising these to generate insights in order to improve marketing and product strategies.
  • Elevate with colleagues: You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Sales and Finance teams to develop and deliver new products, services, and pricing strategies.
  • Scale a marketing team: As a key dedicated hire in the Marketing function, you will lead the future growth of the function.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of building and leading marketing, demand gen, or product marketing teams; preferably in fast-paced, rapidly growing environments.
  • 2+ years experience in SaaS Product Marketing (ideally in the cloud or cybersecurity industry).
  • Proven track record of crafting product-centric content and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Experience in developer marketing & developer relations roles.
  • Visible social media presence in current and prior roles.
  • Helpful, service minded, and precise in your administration.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, developing and evolving environment, with changing structures and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders across a global team, and a video-conferencing natural.
