The Digital Email Marketing Specialist will assist with email marketing as part of a wider digital marketing strategy. This individual will focus on building email lists, creating and optimizing emails for conversion and sales, and keeping leads warm through email marketing. They will use email automation software to send out email blasts, newsletters, and more, all with the goal of increasing brand awareness and driving conversions.

This individual will also be cross trained in all aspects of our Digital Marketing Team in order to be flexible in strategy and coverage.

Job responsibilities

  • Review the results of marketing efforts and work with management to refine future initiatives
  • Assist in strategic planning and managing the execution of promotional campaigns, including project management and managing progress throughout campaign lifecycle
  • Develop and set-up A/B testing on email campaigns, ensure statistical significance
  • Continuously follow up with campaign statistics and identify trends
  • Approve test emails prior to blast and follow up on any technical issues
  • Generate performance reporting on active and completed email campaigns
  • Create and deploy email campaigns to support new product launches, promotions, maintenance, transactional and other marketing and not marketing efforts
  • Work on migrating email platforms
  • Produce, monitor and distribute weekly, monthly and ad hoc email reporting on campaign performance
  • Report and analyze email engagement and business metrics to ensure objectives are achieved

Job requirements

  • Experience with enterprise level email marketing platforms (Drip, SendinBlue, MailChimp, Bronto, Marketo, etc.)
  • Experience editing HTML for email
  • AdWords
  • A/B Testing experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics and applying tracking to email campaigns
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques as well as continually evolving email best practices
  • Drive to learn multiple aspects of Digital Marketing, including social, affiliates, SEO, and AdWords
