We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Paid Social to join our paid acquisition team and drive the execution and optimization of cross-channel, paid social media marketing campaigns. The Associate Manager, Paid Social is responsible for the planning and implementation of social advertising campaigns that drive demand throughout each stage of the funnel. You’ll be in constant sync with the Associate Manager, Performance Media to ensure that social media advertising campaigns are running in alignment with SEM, display, traditional, and other paid acquisition programs.

The ideal candidate will use a blend of analytical and creative skills to ensure advertising efforts are cohesive across channels and consistently optimized to incrementally improve performance. The Associate Manager, Paid Social will contribute to the success of the demand generation marketing team and report to the Director, Paid Acquisition.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the planning and development of paid social advertising campaigns
  • Execute paid social media campaigns across Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging channels 
  • Measure ongoing paid social media campaigns and make incremental adjustments to optimize performance metrics—impressions, clicks, quality scores, CTR, Conversion Rate, ROAS
  • Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, communication, and account reviews across all paid social media channels
  • Perform weekly optimization of budget management, bid management, tracking, and analytics
  • Stay on top of ad tech advancements, best practices, and new social ad opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage and maximize reach and effectiveness
  • Proactively communicate with peers and leadership on plans, progress, and problems
  • Collaborate across marketing functions to gather assets needed to create compelling ads
  • Conduct research and assess market trends to identify new paid social acquisition opportunities
  • Ideate and implement frequent A/B tests to maximize investment and drive key insights that optimize the buyer journey and experience
  • Monitor spending to ensure alignment with the advertising budget
  • Partner with associate marketing manager peers to analyze paid acquisition metrics across all performance media and paid social channels
  • Research the social media advertising strategy of competitors and high-performing software companies (Cloud 100) to drive content and asset development that maximizes engagement on those platforms
  • Work with paid acquisition leadership to ensure paid social tactics are aligned with the paid acquisition strategy

What you should have:

  • 2-3 years of relevant digital marketing experience with a strong knowledge of paid social media
  • Understanding of the online advertising space including paid search, programmatic media buying, and ad-serving systems
  • Previous hands-on experience executing and optimizing paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin
  • Familiarity with core digital marketing tools and platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Business Solutions, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Adroll
  • Familiarity with 3rd party review sites like Capterra, Software Suggest, G2, TrustRadius
  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in reporting and data analysis
  • Comfortable working with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Looker
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
