We’re looking for a high-energy leader with strong experience in developing partnerships and sourcing strategic opportunities at dynamic organizations. Done right, we believe this person can create lasting and meaningful business relationships for Pleo by supporting and accelerating growth of the business through collaborations with strategic B2B partners. This individual will become a critical member of the Growth Marketing Team and will report to our Head of Growth Marketing and work closely with Pleo’s executive team as we scale our business.

This position is open to candidates based out of the East coast of the USA/Canada, London, Copenhagen, Berlin, Madrid, Stockholm, Paris or Lisbon.

As our Director of Partner Marketing, you’ll be responsible for a number of things - some of the cool stuff is listed below:

  • You will creatively explore and evaluate new opportunities in adjacent markets and propose collaborations to grow the business within key industry verticals
  • You will plan end-to-end marketing campaigns with high-priority external partners and execute collaborative partner marketing campaigns to help drive awareness in our markets.
  • You will manage and maintain relationships with the marketing point person at strategic platform, payments, system integrator, and technology partners.
  • You will drive marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, newsletters, webinars, virtual events, trade shows, paid media, and gifting.
  • You will work with Partner Managers and Field Marketing Managers to enable partners on Pleo solutions and implement go-to-market strategies. This includes how to sell the Pleo solutions, competitive differentiation, content and supporting material is available to colleagues and Partners to drive improved performance
  • You will align with peers in marketing to establish cohesive messaging across channels and B2B initiatives.
  • You will develop and present reporting that tracks against key KPIs and evaluate performance to recommend improvements

We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have extensive experience in significantly impacting company performance by driving major strategic initiatives through partnerships within a software/fintech/SaaS business
  • Will be a great sparring partner on creating solutions for how we can support our accountant partners at a local level in the most scalable way 
  • You love people management - you’ll be building a team of partner marketers, so we’re looking for someone who knows how to develop, lead, motivate and get the best out of people
  • Have a great knack for identifying and closing high value partnerships through well thought out negotiation
  • Love solving problems - you’re rarely satisfied unless you’ve analysed why a problem has occurred and how to fix it
  • Are a credible communicator with impeccable presentation skills
  • Leave no stone unturned when it comes to strengthening your relationships
  • Are often described as someone who has high energy and your colleagues love this about you!
