Mission:

Invoice2go is seeking a passionate, ambitious, and collaborative Web Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team. The Web Marketing Manager will lead all efforts to create, build and maintain a best-in-class marketing website that combines an excellent user experience with search engine optimization (SEO), delivering the highest level of traffic. As a key contributor on the Growth Marketing team, you’ll partner closely with our Performance Marketing, Brand, Design, Product Marketing, and Organic Growth teams to maximize channel efficiency, improve site performance, and hit aggressive new user acquisition targets. 

While you take web strategy and execution seriously, you don’t take yourself too seriously and love a good gif or corny joke.

Location: Our new headquarters are based in San Jose. Open to Remote – preferably based in the Bay Area or ability to work west coast hours.

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 2+ years of web marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of web best practices and eagerness to stay up-to-date with new trends
  • Expertise defining and executing A/B tests and optimizing website performance across our web properties
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress
  • Proficient with HTML and web design
  • Experience with analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Google Search Console, and more)
  • Proven ability to plan, implement, maintain, and revise web-based marketing campaigns to drive sales and revenue
  • Ability to proactively identify growth opportunities with research and competitive analysis.
  • Experience defining and owning page-level and channel-specific KPIs. Use web traffic, site engagement data, funnel analysis, and more to prioritize opportunities and report on the business impact of your optimization efforts
  • Experience owning and managing all workstreams involving the marketing website, from new page builds, optimization, and iteration to troubleshooting site issues

  • Strong ownership and accountability (must proactively own this space without being pushed)
  • Analytical background (strong testing skill set) and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Stay up to date with the latest web marketing trends and best practices
  • Evangelize web marketing throughout the organization, educate the team on best practices by utilizing the latest web marketing trends
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing

Expected Outcomes in 6 months:


1 month: Build relationships with main collaborators and stakeholders across the organization

Understand the Invoice2go product

Understand all metrics associated with Invoice2go’s website

Support execution of existing website campaigns including revisions and/or launches


3 months: Build out quarterly roadmaps in partnership with our Growth PM and Design teams

Maintain and own a prioritized backlog of enhancements and partner with technical teams to ensure their successful implementation

Own execution of website campaigns including revisions and/or launches

Own page-level and channel-specific KPIs 


6 months: Identify and recommend improvements to site 

Become a thought partner and brainstorm new ideas for growth initiatives on the website

Provide actionable insights and recommendations from web metrics

Own website roadmap
