About the role:

We are looking for a proven, energetic and highly driven enterprise demand generation leader to join the Zappi team. In this role you will partner closely with our sales & CS leadership, marketing & CX leads to drive all Zappi demand generation efforts. We have built an incredible business and culture and we now need help to realise our growth trajectory.


  • Design & deliver a comprehensive demand generation strategy, which includes plans for Market segmentation, Account based penetration, and partner alliances
  • Establish ongoing programs to drive customer expansion efforts through interpretation of usage signals across Zappi website, platform and via customer communications
  • Manage and coach a team of demand generation professionals responsible for our portfolio of programs across all channels. This will include campaign management, marketing operations, customer marketing (acquisition & expansion), product led growth and email specialist.
  • Partner closely with EVP Marketing to ensure fluid alignment on brand, messaging and positioning
  • Partner closely with sales/revenue operations/enablement to ensure alignment on strategy, resources and KPIs
  • Build and manage on-going best-in-class demand gen programs and optimization of Lead to Opportunity funnel
  • Develop and track comprehensive metrics reports and advise on the effectiveness and future direction of our lead generation marketing campaigns and spending
  • Leverage all content marketing, thought leadership programs and materials to support our demand generation efforts - for acquisition and expansion efforts.
  • Utilize and enhance all demand gen channels to include SEM, SEO, search, email, events, content, paid channels, lifecycle marketing, conferences, webinars, customer marketing as well as owned channels - website & platform.
  • Partner closely with revenue operations on key metrics, including marketing performance measurement, budgeting, strategic planning, process definition, and marketing systems and data
  • Select vendors and partners to hit business goals. This includes agency partners but also the optimum tech stack to support demand generation
  • In collaboration with EVP Marketing, define annual demand generation budgets as well as managing ongoing program budgets
  • Ensure all demand generation investments are continually optimised


  • Will have a proven approach & track record in driving demand generation - at least 7-8 years experience
  • Has an infectious enthusiasm for growth and demand generation
  • Is a highly effective influencer as well as a strong communicator
  • Is a skilled people manager with experience to develop and motivate a team for success
  • Experience in working in SaaS B2B startup/scale ups in a similar role &/or performance agency experience on similar accounts
  • Expert understanding of cross channel effectiveness & optimisation as well as martech
  • Relishes working in fast paced & ever changing environment that comes with ambitious scale ups
  • Has the right balance of strategic thinking & and getting stuff done
  • Is humble, able to work with senior management and teams at all levels with consistency.
