As our Director of Marketing, you’ll head a high-performing marketing department. The Director of Marketing at UrbanBound is responsible for collaborating with sales to drive strategy and thought leadership with the main focus on lead generation to be at the forefront of their efforts. In this player/coach role, you’ll steer strategy by guiding campaigns with content creation, email automation, social media and events.  

You’re a self-proclaimed “rock star” interested in showing off your skills and progressing the momentum of the marketing department. You live and breathe inbound marketing, you are comfortable driving strategy for partner and current client marketing and you are ultimately driven by a sales-minded marketing mantra. 

As the Director of Marketing, your day-to-day will vary, but you’ll always point back to directly impacting an aggressive inbound growth strategy. Here’s what you’ll take ownership of:

  • Overall marketing strategy, including campaign creation and execution
  • Intercompany relations and strategy with sales, client account management, supply chain and program management.
  • MarTech tools
  • Hubspot management
  • Automations
  • Content management
  • Email workflows and nurturing sequences
  • Hubspot/Salesforce integrations
  • Email signature marketing
  • Content marketing including content writing and creation
  • Data analysis, including driving strategy based on data-driven decisions
  • Employee management
  • Creative strategy, including graphic design work to perpetuate the newly redesigned UrbanBound brand.

Ideally, you’ll also possess the following skills and/or qualifications: 

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited, 4-year university
  • 10+ years of experience of experience in a marketing role, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Hubspot, particularly Hubspot workflows and list management; Hubspot CMS experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience with intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, etc.
  • Inbound lead generation expertise
  • Knowledge of Account-based Marketing best practices and strategy
  • Intermediate to advanced copywriting skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and/or Photoshop
