We are hiring a full-time Content Marketing Manager who will bring our brand to life through compelling content that will educate our target market and celebrate the impact we have on our clients and our patients. This position can be based in Indianapolis, IN or Winooski, VT. There is also the possibility of remote work for the right candidate. This position may require up to 25% travel.

A storyteller at heart, you’ll develop inspiring content for the market, our clients and our patients. You’re process oriented and will produce high-quality, results-oriented content. You understand the trends and anticipate content needs to drive brand awareness. You’ll develop and implement a social media strategy, with a strong desire to increase followers and engagement. This role is for you if you know how to turn a whitepaper into 10 other deliverables; you have a knack for writing catchy copy that makes people want to read more; they show you data and you see a story; and you enjoy engaging with a community on social media.

Responsibilities

  • Write content that leads to higher category awareness and increased brand consideration for Marathon Health.
  • Create compelling content marketing assets, including but not limited to, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, blog posts, thought leadership articles, webinars, videos, eBooks.
  • Partner with designers and digital managers to bring content to life and make it digestible and sharable.
  • Be involved in soliciting and fielding content needs
  • Interview internal and external SMEs to help produce differentiated content that positions Marathon Health as the category leader
  • Work with marketing and communications peers to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Stay aware of how our competitors are positioning themselves in the market, and how we can promote our differentiation through content.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in digital content creation.
  • Healthcare and/or employee benefits content strongly preferred
  • Digital-first mindset
  • SEO & social media experience
  • A marketer at heart
  • Demonstrated ability to develop content and measure performance for delivering business-impacting results
  • Ability to work comfortably and effectively with executives, individual contributors and external vendors

 Knowledge and Skills 

  • Understanding of the healthcare and employer benefits space
  • Ability to turn ideas and asks into compelling content
  • Great copy-editing skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize most important needs first
  • Good rapport with designers
  • Comfortable in the abstract – the majority of what we’re building is net new
  • Initiative to execute
  • Excellent communication skills — you will interact with customers and cross-functional teammates regularly
  • Inclusive thinker – the ability to partner on eventual solutions with peers and stakeholders and not work in a vacuum.
  • Attention to detail
  • Creative thinker so you can see beyond the exact request and produce materials that answer the “why.”

Marathon Health COVID-19 Testing & Vaccination Policy

  • As of October 4, 2021, Marathon Health will require all employees (excluding PRN employees) to obtain and provide the results of a weekly COVID-19 test for each week during which they are scheduled to work, unless they have provided proof of vaccination. COVID-19 vaccinated employees will not require weekly testing as long as they submit their vaccination records.
  • Per state laws in California, New York, Washington and Oregon, all employees working in our health centers in those states must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
