Goldcast is a virtual and hybrid event platform built to help B2B Marketers host engaging online experiences and drive pipeline and business impact through their events. 📈

The company was founded at Harvard Business School in the beginning of 2020. We are a small but fast-growing fully remote team and are backed by industry-leading VCs and prominent angel investors from a unique collection of backgrounds.

What You'll Do

The Director of Events will be responsible for driving the direction and execution of the Goldcast brand experience at virtual and hybrid company-driven events, and take initiatives to build an active and engaged community of enterprise event marketers.

As a member of the demand generation team, this person will develop, manage and measure a portfolio of internal and external events.

You will

  • Partner with an enthusiastic Head of Growth to build the marketing strategy - identifying different activities to support the buyer and customer journey
  • Build and coach high performers on your event marketing team, creating opportunities for them to grow and thrive
  • Work within a cross-functional customer team focused on growing and retaining our B2B enterprise customers, and solidifying Goldcast's position as the leading GTM platform for B2B event marketers
  • Lead the strategy in executing Goldcast-hosted Field Marketing/Prospect events to support the sales team with a goal of sourcing, creating and closing pipeline.
  • Conceptualize partnerships with leading martech firms and build a co-marketing strategy with them, centered around virtual and hybrid events
  • Work with marketing and sales to determine appropriate marketing materials (videos, brochures, case studies, etc.), sponsorships, promotions and staffing for each event
  • Contribute to and execute customer marketing initiatives aimed at expanding current customer accounts
  • Monitor and measure the ROI of local campaigns and events, and evaluate results in relation to regional goals
  • Drive project schedules, adhere to budgets and manage functions including graphic design, event planning and event management

Who Are You

  • Passionate about virtual and hybrid events and helping fellow event marketers, and firmly believe that events are a key part of the modern go-to-market stack
  • 5+ years of planning and executing marketing programs and events
  • 2+ years building and managing an event marketing team, with a focus on coaching and growth
  • 1-2 years of planning and executing multi-day, multi-track virtual and/or hybrid events with 300+ attendees
  • Clear communicator, a detailed project manager, results-driven, with a focus on driving new business and excelling at customer retention
  • You’ve managed numerous projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
  • Experience with developing, executing and tracking results tied to multi-touch marketing plans and events
  • Able to shift gears between thinking and doing across a range of marketing activities like events, lead generation campaigns, digital - whatever it takes!
  • Team-oriented individual that can work across multiple time zones, occasionally willing to travel, and clearly sets expectations when priorities may be competing
  • Ability to inspire cross-functional teams to work with you and feel great about their contribution
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Hubspot is a plus!
  • Experience in the martech space is prioritized!
