Back-End Marketing Director

Are you a top player? Had success with high value product launches? Weiss Ratings is seeking a Back-End Marketing Director to manage our 6 and 7 figure product launches to our current customers. You will work with our copywriters and your team to deliver more value to our customers and increase the lifetime value of the business. This role requires an energized and fast-moving leader who can multi-task and keep the team's goals and priorities in line.


Manage the monetization of our current customers and maximizing revenue from up-selling, cross-selling and internal product/campaign launches

·      Work closely with other departments (editorial, copy, sales, customer service, production) while overseeing and being deeply involved in the copy process from conception to production through execution and retention

·      Develop and oversee launch of new products, daily e-letters, and multiple trading/investment products to ensure revenue growth

·      Aid in copy development from the big idea to discussions, reviews and editing

·      Responsible for taking projects from idea to completion on-time, managing creative steps within your team from brainstorming, written promotion, video promotion to launch for both new promos and existing products, and creating and launching new products

·      Ensure that all back-end campaign tasks are input, detailed and completed in a timely manner

·      Manage all back-end campaigns’ tracking, testing and email naming conventions

·      Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing efforts and metrics for all campaigns

·      Responsible for continuously testing new channels, strategies, creative assets, and copy

·      Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to reach customers and increase brand awareness


 ·      Familiarity with marketing production flow, ability to complete jobs within existing timelines and tight deadlines

·      Extensive experience with direct response strategies and high-value online sales.

·      Familiarity with financial publishing marketing, investments, stocks, and crypto a plus.

·      Proven record of marketing and managing 6-7 figure launches

·      Familiarity with FTC (Federal Trade Commission) compliance requirements for financial publishers

·      Proven leader in building, managing teams and mentoring to create new leaders

·      Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

·      Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

·      Highly detail-oriented to expedite and facilitate the exacting work of a marketing campaign

·      Team player: ability to take direction and to manage and work in harmony with a high-energy team
