About the Role:

At Panorama Education, the content marketing team is on a mission to build a world-class library of resources that K-12 district leaders love to learn from, with a focus on attracting and converting new customers. As our in-house creative team grows, we’re looking for an experienced content marketing or editorial professional to manage the publishing output of our content marketing engine. 

Reporting to the Content Team Lead, the Content Editorial Manager will be responsible for editing teammates’ written work, maintaining our editorial calendar, and supporting the content creation process from ideation through publication. The ideal candidate is passionate about the editorial process, collaborating with creatives, workshopping content, and shipping high-quality work that drives brand awareness and revenue.


  • Work with the Content Team Lead to further establish our editorial direction and map out our editorial calendar—including the keywords we should target, the topics we should cover, and the content formats we should produce
  • Manage and improve the production processes for content marketing assets like blog posts, gated content, case studies, and certificate courses
  • Work with a team of in-house content marketers to edit their work and help them grow their storytelling craft
  • Revise and proofread all content before being published to the Panorama blog or website
  • Maintain Panorama’s writing style guide and ensure all content meets district leader standards
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and key cross-functional stakeholders (such as Sales and Account Management) on strategy to ensure Panorama’s content serves business goals
  • Occasionally jump in to write copy or create content for strategic projects

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 5+ years of content marketing and/or editorial experience 
  • Exceptional editing, proofreading, and writing skills (You’re the person that everyone goes to before they publish something!) 
  • A portfolio of work (Please use the cover letter space in the application to share writing/content marketing samples from your portfolio)
  • Demonstrated experience working with and coaching writers on creating compelling content 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and project manage in a deadline-driven environment
  • Understand or be very eager to learn SEO best practices around keyword research and on-page optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and maintain consistent communication across teams and departments
  • Demonstrated experience understanding the impact of—and incorporating attention to—diversity, equity, and inclusion in your work 
  • Experience working in marketing software like HubSpot, Wordpress, and Salesforce
