Pluralsight is looking for an analytical marketing mind with outstanding data story telling prowess who has the ability to identify business opportunities through web traffic and contextualized Salesforce data analysis. This role must be able to communicate analytical results to others on a consistent basis, provide an interpretation of the data, and make recommendations for improvement. The candidate will use a variety of data sources including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Launch, Google Analytics, Optimize, Google Tag Manager, CrazyEgg, Lucky Orange and similar to compile data for generating insights that will enable business optimization that drives both direct sales as well as B2B Leads. A passion for finding impactful insights from data is key. Statistics, R, and a firm understanding of A/B testing a plus. Converting data into stories that resolve the “why” in the minds of executives and marketing specialists motivates the applicant.

 

Who you are:

  • Consistent track record at scanning graphs, charts and columns of data to identify problems and opportunities driving the lift to revenue and profits
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills passionately communicating findings clearly to all levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage time, priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand performance data, draw conclusions and concisely state recommendations
  • Ability to translate business problems into meaningful metrics
  • A self-starter, with experience maintaining one's own calendar and priorities themselves
  • Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Storytelling based on data analysis experience is a plus


What you’ll own:

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to increase site conversion and optimized customer journeys
  • Analyze and monitor KPIs that inform web strategy
  • Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards in order to drive key business decisions. Develop processes and methodologies to automate reporting where possible
  • Manage, track and report on the efficiency of new feature launches, site changes and marketing initiatives
  • Provide monthly & quarterly investigative analysis of website strategies. Summarize and present overall findings and key takeaways
  • Recommend, design, execute and measure various A/B quantitative and qualitative experiments on our public-facing web properties
  • Stay informed about, communicate, and apply current standard methodologies in web analytics
  • Analyze results and provide recommendations to UX and website developers for optimized customer experiences
  • Prioritize all ad hoc reporting requests based on potential business value


Experience you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus – Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math or related major


3+ years in the following:

  • Excelling in a data-intensive role analyzing online marketing data
  • Adobe Analytics or comparable web analytics tools
  • Maintaining Tag Management Systems
  • Performing A/B, multivariate and other forms of web optimization testing
  • Building dashboards using Tableau, DOMO or comparable visualization tools
  • Writing HTML, JavaScript/jQuery with Chrome Developer Tools debugging experience
  • Using Excel and SQL. Comfortable with sophisticated Excel formulas and SQL Joins
  • Experience in QA related tasks
  • High-level understanding of ground breaking SEO/PPC methodologies and technical considerations
