Social Wave is a B2B demand gen marketing agency based in Sydney, Australia. In 18 months, we've grown from a two-person team to a team of 15+.

We're on the lookout for a hard-working and talented Demand Gen Strategist who will work closely with our clients on their brand and content marketing strategies to drive accelerated revenue growth. Ideally, you are based in Australia but we will consider a remote position in a similar timezone for the right applicants as you will be directly communicating with clients on a regular basis.

Our clients are primarily traditional businesses in real estate, finance, legal, software, payroll and recruitment.

You will be the main point of contact for our clients and work directly with our content and creative teams to set the strategy, guide execution and manage client expectations.

Ideally, you come from the Chris Walker/Refine Labs school of B2B thinking, with broad level demand gen and content marketing expertise in:

  • YouTube growth marketing
  • LinkedIn
  • SEO/SEM
  • Paid social
  • Email marketing
  • Podcast
  • Video marketing

You'll need to also possess:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make strategic decisions and recommendations based on clients' business, industry and vertical
  • The ability to execute both strategically and tactically (you should know the difference) across multiple channels
  • Exceptional copywriting skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the pragmatic ability to account manage clients and internally to deliver results. You must be able to very clearly and efficiently articulate ideas, solutions and problems.
  • Experience with HubSpot (preferred)

Qualities we're looking for:

  • The ability to plan, implement and measure multi-channel demand generation campaigns to deliver a high-quality inbound customer pipeline and increased revenue
  • Focused on revenue, not leads
  • Strong data analysis focus that can help improve our ability to measure and analyse improvements to our campaigns
  • Strong paid social background and how it can be used as another awareness channel rather than for performance marketing

This is an integral role that will facilitate company growth as we continue to assist new clients and businesses with genuine marketing growth. This requires someone who has an exceptional strategic mind who can also perform on a tactical level, particularly in communications and copywriting.
