As a Demand Generation Manager, you’ll work closely with our Head of Demand Generation, as well as our team of talented marketers that span across 5 areas of focus (growth engineering, analytics, demand generation, content, and product marketing). You’ll be developing multi-channel campaigns that aim to push the boundaries of what SaaS marketing is all about (and maybe saying “no” to a lot of the norms you are used to).

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our marketing team. You’ll think conceptually and strategically to drive demand through the entire funnel, developing multi-channel targeted campaigns, and partnering across our marketing and sales teams to successfully execute growth and acquisition plans. You’ll think outside the box for each campaign to make sure that, as marketers marketing to marketers, each and every interaction with Clearbit feels personalized and pushes the bounds of what SaaS marketing should be.

Here's a Sample of What You'll be Doing

  • Drive the strategy, development, and execution of campaigns, creating a highly effective and targeted approach to help Clearbit drive new customer acquisition
  • Use a multi-channel approach that generates sales pipeline, while closely monitoring performance and optimizing at each stage of the funnel
  • Partner with our Content team to scale our books program from top to bottom, from content ideation to owning distribution.
  • Work closely with our Growth team to develop campaigns that drive demand for our free tools (like our Weekly Visitor Report)
  • Find, research, evaluate and manage co-marketing, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities that get in front of the right audience and drive pipeline.
  • Have a deep understanding of our target audience and personas, design experiments to test new audiences and approaches that identify new channels
  • Keep a close watch on program performance, and develop projections and growth goals, consistently track & measure program performance/pacing to ensure programs are on track to meet goals
  • Collaborate with the product, engineering, sales and marketing departments to optimize programs, campaigns, and landing pages.
  • Stay abreast of industry and marketing trends to identify more innovative ways to approach marketing channels and programs

  • You are passionate about lead nurture and education that brings each lead through their ideal journey from the first interaction to purchase and beyond.
  • You are willing to break out of traditional SaaS marketing norms and say no to things that blend in with the crowd of other martech companies.
  • You love to jump into the creative end of campaigns, whether it's copywriting, hosting webinars, or creating video content.
  • You nerd out (at least a little) about marketing technology. You're familiar with (and maybe have some strong opinions on) the general landscape of tooling around demand generation — and the opportunity to work with Clearbit products is interesting to you.
  • You have strong communication skills, some of which was honed with experience working cross-functionally with sales and customer success.
  • You thrive when able to self-direct. You’re looking to work with a startup where you’ll be responsible for the impact you make and have a lot of freedom. The growth team is fully remote, so you work well with autonomy and are a proactive communicator.
