The Product Marketing Manager articulates the value of Popmenu products to ensure clients and prospects are getting the right message, whether through marketing channels and tactics or interactions with our team members, and represents the customer's voice in product discussions. As an acting voice of the customer, this role assists in guiding product improvements by messaging and branding each appropriately to increase growth and usage of all Popmenu products. Reporting to the Lead Product Marketing Manager, and joining a newly established product marketing team, you’ll have the chance to blaze a path for Popmenu in this role and assist in establishing Popmenu as the number one restaurant technology for any independent restaurateur.

What You Will be Responsible For

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, customer experience, and other teams to build alignment around go-to-market plans, create product positioning, messaging, and success metrics for all Popmenu products.
  • Defining product user personas and identifying segmentation opportunities for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Engaging with the sales and CX team to ensure they are informed and equipped to deliver consistent messaging and products to our clients/prospects.
  • Partnering with content marketing and sales to develop content for existing clients and prospects around product launches and feature updates.
  • Leading and influencing others to make customer-centered, data-backed decisions.
  • Conducting necessary research to help Popmenu deeply understand our different customer segments and product performance.
  • Key KPIs tied to company goals including self-signup volume, inbound lead count, product adoption/usage/upgrades, transactional revenue, and churn.
  • Bottom line - in this role it is your responsibility to help the company deeply understand market and customer needs and adjust the strategy or messaging accordingly.

  • A strong sense of curiosity -- the ability to see potential in an idea/product/feature and know how and where to present that to the ideal audience and convert.
  • Ownership & Accountability - you can take an idea, create a strategy and plan for action, and follow it through to the end.
  • Start-up ready - you have the confidence and problem-solving skills to be effective in situations with limited information.
  • Comfortable with change - able to adapt and pivot to maintain alignment to business priorities.
  • You have a passion for restaurants, dining out, and helping independent restaurant owners grow their business and solidify their position as staples of our communities.
  • Nice to have: B2B or B2C software experience

At Popmenu we believe in transparency and meeting candidates at eye-level. We know that money isn’t everything - but it is important. For this role, we have determined a compensation range of $100k to $110k in addition to company equity to be a fair and attractive offer.
