Who we are
Crystal is an AI tool that gives you insights about anyone's personality, communication style, and buying preferences. Our product is most commonly used by sales teams to convert more prospects, close deals faster, and hire reps more successfully.
Millions of people have used our self-service personality platform since our launch in 2015, including professionals from over 90% of the Fortune 500. Thousands of companies use our enterprise products for prospecting, coaching, training, and sales enablement. Our technology combines machine learning and DISC, a widely used and well-researched behavioral model used by hundreds of thousands of organizations worldwide.
Our company is based in Nashville, TN. We are now fully remote and have a team of 20+ employees. We have raised funding from Salesforce Ventures, HubSpot Ventures, and several others, but have not needed to raise money since 2018. Our goal is to build a healthy, productive culture where people can accelerate their careers, build long-lasting relationships, and have a lot of fun doing it.
Why we're looking for help
We have a mature product that generates over 1,000 new users per day. Many are qualified for our enterprise sales process, but it's a big challenge to effectively identify the best leads and match them with one of our great reps. We need someone to own this funnel and help the sales team spend their time as efficiently as possible.
Once our sales team is talking to the right leads, we need to equip them with resources to nurture them through the sales funnel towards a deal. These resources include content, case studies, videos, and other types of collateral.
We also have TONS of untapped opportunities for outbound marketing, partnerships, events, branding, and social media marketing - these are all areas that we have never really focused on, but may provide big wins for us in the future. Crystal is a fun brand with broad appeal, so you can afford to let your creativity run.
What you'll be responsible for
- Strategy: Develop and execute marketing programs for product-led growth, demand gen, SEO, social media, PR, marketing operations, sales enablement, channel partners, industry evangelists, webinars and inbound content.
- Lead acquisition: Build on our robust inbound funnel to deliver a steady flow of leads to our sales team. Test and expand other demand gen channels, improve upon lead scoring and ultimately drive increases in new customer acquisition and upsells.
- Branding: Define Crystal’s story, brand messaging, product positioning and the strategies needed to tell that story externally to the market and internally to our team.
- Metrics: Continuously monitor our SaaS metrics, acquisition funnel, conversion analytics, A/B tests and SEO traffic to help our team make data-driven decisions.
- Growth: Define future roles on the marketing team, recruit talented people for those roles, and hold your team accountable to the company's growth goals.
- Internal Messaging: Consistently communicate our story and brand positioning to our team, drive strong sales-marketing alignment and collaborate with our leadership team to ultimately drive growth at Crystal.
What we’re looking for in a candidate
- 5+ years of online marketing experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Expert-level experience with the full HubSpot platform.
- Solid experience with email campaigns, landing pages, and paid acquisition.
- Strong foundation of SEO knowledge and experience.
- History of great relationships with sales and customer success teams.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Experience with Hubspot marketing automation and CRM.
