Job Brief:

We are looking for a hard-working and motivated Director of Business Development to lead our business development representative (BDR) team in our downtown Boston office and help fuel our striking growth globally. You are flawless for CallMiner if you are a continual student of the latest SaaS BDR methods, processes, and tools. You are a strong coach and motivator who leads by example. And you know how to build scalable operations to drive increased pipeline resulting in well-qualified opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Leading and growing an extraordinary, scalable business development organization
  • Continually recruiting and developing top BDR talent to maintain maximum headcount capacity and output
  • Developing a strong, motivated BDR team who thrives and exceeds quarterly pipeline targets
  • Ensuring cross-functional alignment and coordination with the sales organization to jointly create well qualified opportunities that ultimately close
  • Seamlessly integrating with marketing and sales leadership to develop and implement cross-functional enterprise demand generation in all key market segments
  • Creating a culture where BDR’s have a “can-do” attitude, are incentivized properly, and have professional growth opportunities with multiple options for advancement (sales, marketing, etc.)
  • Enabling your team with the latest BDR tools and technology including our own sales technology solution for intelligence
  • Ensuring the BDR process is configured for optimal visibility, efficiency, and productivity
  • Providing a data-driven approach to reporting and analyzing team activities and critical metrics to drive pipeline generation efforts and exceed quarterly targets

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High energy demeanor, career ambition, and a best-in-class work ethic
  • Consistent record of leading a BDR team that exceeds quarterly targets
  • 2+ years of experience leading and developing a BDR team at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Comfort working in an international, cross-cultural environment
  • Strong analytics skills and a history of data-driven decisions about BDR process and tactics
  • Expertise with the latest tools used by a BDR team (i.e. Salesforce, Drift, Outreach/ Salesloft/ Xant, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levels
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Value/ value based selling methodologies
  • Natural coaching tendencies with a focus on motivating and growing strong inside sales representatives
  • Technical proficiency to quickly learn and coach on various SaaS based use-case solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • You believe in team-based selling Experience selling data analytics solutions helpful
