The position involves strategic planning and day-to-day hands-on creation, execution and optimization of lifecycle campaigns in our email/notification service provider, Braze.

What You'll Do:

  • Deeply understand the Pexels contributor, uncover insights to understand key points in their journey that will drive activation and engagement
  • Create multi-channel campaigns that engage, nurture, and improve activation and long-term retention from onboarding all the way through becoming a Pexels Hero
  • Leverage data to monitor how people are using Pexels, and how we can improve their experience
  • Constantly measure and report campaign performance, rigorously A/B test, and optimize our communications across channels
  • Partner closely with other teams — working closely with the community, content, and product teams to strengthen our customer-facing efforts across the board

What You’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing and/or performance marketing with an emphasis on data-driven programs and experimentation
  • Strong cross-functional skills, including working with data, product, writing copy, and an eye for design
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms. Experience with Braze would be a plus
  • Highly analytical, a love of data and segmentation, a test-and-learn mindset and the ability to turn learnings into actions to improve performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills with an outstanding eye for detail
  • HTML, liquid, and technical knowledge is a big plus
