As the Demand Generation Lead, Shopify Plus for the US West region, you will partner closely with our sales teams across different customer segments to help more brands in the world come to Shopify. You are responsible for defining what world-class demand generation and account based marketing looks like, and executing those programs to drive new revenue. You’ll also share insights and learnings back to the Merchant Success, Partner and Marketing teams to help shape their strategy.

While we have global demand gen efforts, this is a rare opportunity to shape our approach at the regional level, and to build a new craft (ABM) at Shopify from the ground up. You’ll teach us what excellent looks like and set a new foundation for future growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative strategies and programs that help win target accounts
  • Measure the success of ABM rollout across targeted channels and segments
  • Incorporate experimentation to accelerate learning 
  • Build and maintain a resource library 
  • Share best practices, learnings, and examples across the company 
  • Identify and validate new opportunities to creatively reach our audience

You are:

  • Empathetic in understanding the individuals that you’re trying to reach
  • A creative thinker who is constantly exploring new ways to reach and target our prospects at an individual level 
  • Comfortable speaking directly to prospects and existing customers
  • Experienced in working on or with B2B SaaS sales teams
  • Fluent in Salesforce and Marketo
  • Comfortable working with design templates and can write thoughtful B2B copy 
  • Familiar with ABM technology and can evaluate possible options for adoption
  • Organized 
  • Excited to test multiple channels and can measure success accordingly
